Intra Lighting Catalogue: 3D Lighting Product Visualizations & Catalogue Renderings
A lighting product cannot be judged by form alone. Its value also lies in the way it shapes a room, directs attention, and changes the atmosphere around it. Render Atelier worked with Intra Lighting to create 3D product visualizations for a new lighting catalogue. The project combined accurate representations of individual luminaires with carefully designed interior settings, allowing the collection to be presented through both product detail and real-world application.
What We Built
Based in Slovenia, Intra Lighting is a global provider of architectural luminaires and smart lighting solutions. The company develops recessed, suspended, linear, surface-mounted, and other lighting systems for a wide range of commercial and architectural applications. Render Atelier produced a coordinated set of product and application renderings for Intra Lighting. The brief required each luminaire to remain visually accurate while also showing what it contributed to a finished space.
At product level, shape, scale, colour, material, finish, and mounting method all needed to be clear. The fixtures could not feel generic or interchangeable. Each visualization had to preserve the identity of the product while remaining consistent with the wider catalogue. The application scenes added another layer. Recessed lighting was presented in lounge environments where the fixture itself remained discreet, but its effect on the room was easy to read. Light distribution, contrast, warmth, and the balance between illuminated and darker areas all helped communicate the intended atmosphere. Pendant luminaires required a different approach. Their forms, colours, and suspended placement made them more visually prominent within the interiors. The scenes therefore had to present the products as both functional lighting elements and visible design features without allowing the surrounding furniture or styling to overpower them.
The final catalogue gave Intra Lighting a consistent set of images that showed what each product looked like, how it could be used, and the type of environment it could help create. This gave architects, designers, specifiers, and buyers a clearer way to assess the collection without relying only on isolated technical drawings or physical displays.

The surrounding architecture and furniture supported the product without becoming the main subject of the image.
