Bansko is the dominant ski destination in the Balkans — a mountain town in southwest Bulgaria that draws European skiers, year-round hikers, and an expanding international hospitality market to a resort at the base of the Pirin mountains. Four Points by Sheraton Bansko, a Marriott Bonvoy property located 200 metres from the gondola ski lift, is the town’s flagship international branded hotel: a four-star property with 135 rooms, suites, and maisonettes, two restaurants, a spa, and indoor and outdoor pools designed to serve guests across both ski season and summer. Render Atelier produced the pre-opening interior visualization for the property — the imagery that introduced the hotel to its market before guests could experience it in person. The brief covered the full range of interior guest spaces: guestrooms, the lobby lounge, and the restaurant — the three environments that collectively define a hotel stay at this level.
Ski resort hotel visualization presents a specific atmospheric brief that distinguishes it from both urban hotel and residential interior work. The spaces being visualized are defined by their relationship to the mountain environment outside them — the warmth of a guestroom that opens onto a view of snow-covered peaks, the convivial atmosphere of a lounge designed for the end of a ski day, the all-day character of a restaurant that serves guests in ski boots at breakfast and in evening wear at dinner. The guestroom visualization for Four Points Bansko captures the hotel’s interior design language — mountain-appropriate warmth, modern comfort, the specific quality of morning light in a high-altitude environment — across two camera positions that communicate both the room’s proportions and its amenity quality. The lounge and restaurant images complete the picture of the hotel’s public spaces: the lounge as a social anchor for the property’s evening atmosphere, the restaurant as a destination in its own right within a competitive Bansko dining landscape.
Four Points by Sheraton Bansko is now fully operational and has been recognized with a 2025 International Travel Award and placement in the Top 10 Best Four-Star Mountain Hotels in Bulgaria. The pre-opening visualization produced by Render Atelier contributed to the imagery package that launched the property to the European ski and travel market. Working at Marriott brand level — Four Points by Sheraton is positioned as the brand for the independent-minded traveller who values quality without excess — requires a specific understanding of what the brand’s visual language communicates and how a visualization must serve that communication before a single guest has checked in. The project extends Render Atelier’s track record in international luxury and upper-midscale hospitality visualization across Europe and the Middle East.
